A cozy stay with thoughtful details
Staying at Ardenlea Bed & Breakfast was delightful! The suite was beautifully decorated and had a charming whisky selection that gave our evening a special touch. The breakfast selection was impressive, setting a perfect tone for our adventures in the Highlands.
While our stay was mostly enjoyable, we did find the location somewhat limiting, as dining options nearby were scarce. some of the house rules felt a bit confining, which detracted from the experience.

hidden gem with easy access to stunning coastal attractions
what a beautiful stay at this cozy place where we enjoyed the perfect setup and exceptional attention to detail, making it our new favorite spot as we explored nearby landmarks like the impressive Kyleakin Lighthouse just over a kilometer away and the serene Plock community parkland which was a short stroll from the hotel.

The place offered a delightful whisky selection in the room—definitely a nice touch for unwinding after a day of exploring Scotland. The setup was ideal for couples, making it one of our favorites with a breakfast choice that impressed us.
There were a few drawbacks that affected our experience. The bathroom setup was awkward. two doors connecting to the kitchen allowed for too much visibility, and it felt like there was a constant monitoring presence with old couple checking in quite frequently. the restrictions on bringing and warming takeout food were limiting, and the lack of nearby dining options made meals a hassle.

What a delightful stay with comfy personal touches like a small tea pot and a decanter of whisky waiting for us! I loved relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the beautiful garden area after a long day of exploring. The only downside was a slight lack of dining options nearby, but I’d highly recommend trying the breakfast rolls—they were amazing! 🌟

The suite offered a lovely atmosphere with personal touches, including a delightful whisky selection that added charm to our evenings. Breakfast was impressive, particularly the grilled meats which were cooked to perfection. the accommodations lacked nearby dining options, making meals challenging. Restrictions on bringing outside food and the presence of owners checking in often created an uncomfortable environment during our stay.
